Ever since I was a kid, I have absolutely abhorred racism and sexism.

Since before I had the academic lexicon or sociological knowledge to discuss it fully or explain it rationally, I have recognized and despised it viscerally.

Odd, since I occupy the ultimate status of inherent privilege: straight White male.
